1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website longislandseocompany.co and the SEO services provided by Long Island SEO Company, operated by Danish Mehmood. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or services.

2. Our services

We provide search engine optimization services to businesses in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, New York, including:

  • Local SEO and Google Business Profile management
  • Technical SEO (site speed, Core Web Vitals, schema, crawlability)
  • Content and on-page SEO
  • Link building and digital PR
  • AI search optimization (visibility in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity)

The specific scope of work for each engagement is defined in the plan you select (Local, Growth, or Dominate) and any written proposal we send you.

3. No guaranteed rankings

We do not guarantee specific rankings, positions, traffic, or revenue. Search engine algorithms are complex, change frequently, and are outside our control. Any statement about rankings, results, or timelines is a projection based on our experience — not a guarantee.

What we do guarantee is the work: senior strategists, transparent reporting, and a proven process. We will never invent a result number. If a report contains a metric, it is real.

You should be equally skeptical of anyone who does guarantee rankings — no honest agency can make that promise.

4. Pricing and payment

Our plans are flat monthly fees:

  • Local: $750/month
  • Growth: $1,500/month
  • Dominate: from $3,000/month (custom scope)

Key payment terms:

  • No setup fees, no hidden add-ons
  • Billing begins at the start of each month of service
  • Plans are payable by invoice (bank transfer, Payoneer, or other agreed method)
  • Late payments may pause active work until the account is current

5. Initial term and cancellation

Every engagement starts with a 90-day ramp period. This is the minimum commitment — SEO takes time to show results, and we need a runway to do the foundational work.

After the 90-day ramp:

  • Plans continue month-to-month
  • You may cancel anytime with 30 days' written notice (email to hello@longislandseocompany.co is sufficient)
  • No cancellation fees, no exit penalties

Upon cancellation, we will stop active work, hand over any completed deliverables that belong to you, and provide a final report.

6. Client responsibilities

To deliver results, we need reasonable cooperation from you:

  • Provide accurate, truthful business information (name, address, phone, services)
  • Grant access to accounts we need (Google Business Profile, website CMS, analytics) — access can be revoked anytime
  • Respond to reasonable requests within a few business days
  • Notify us promptly of any changes to your business (address, phone, services, hours)
  • Refrain from purchasing spammy links or engaging in black-hat tactics outside our process — doing so can harm rankings and may terminate this agreement

We are not responsible for delays caused by lack of access, slow responses, or actions taken outside our process.

7. Intellectual property

What we create for you: Once full payment is received, you own the final deliverables we create specifically for your campaign (content written for your site, reports, strategy documents).

What we keep: Our methodology, internal processes, templates, and proprietary tools remain our intellectual property. We may also reference your campaign (anonymized) in our portfolio or case studies — unless you ask us not to.

8. Third-party platforms

SEO work touches third-party platforms: Google, Google Business Profile, Bing, directories, publishing sites, and analytics tools. We follow their terms of service and best practices. We are not responsible for changes those platforms make to their algorithms, policies, or interfaces, or for actions they take against a website (including penalties) that result from factors beyond our reasonable control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We provide our services "as is" and "as available"
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost revenue, lost profits, or lost opportunities)
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total fees you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g., fraud or gross negligence).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Long Island SEO Company and its operator harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your use of our services in violation of applicable law, or (c) content or claims you provide that infringe third-party rights.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

We make no warranties beyond those stated in these Terms. In particular, we do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that our services will produce any specific outcome. All results depend on factors outside our control, including Google's algorithms and your industry's competitive landscape.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Nassau County, New York.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates take effect when posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly. For material changes that affect active clients, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with any written proposal or statement of work we provide, constitute the entire agreement between you and Long Island SEO Company and supersede all prior agreements, whether written or oral.
